Stephen Saylor, PA

Stephen Saylor is a board-certified physician assistant and wound care specialist with 30 years of clinical experience. He brings a unique blend of primary care, sports medicine, orthopedics, and holistic health expertise to our wellness and fitness center. As a lifelong competitive athlete, Stephen is passionate about helping others achieve their health, medical, and wellness goals.  

With a diverse background in primary care, chronic disease management, surgical wound care, and personal training, Stephen provides comprehensive and personalized care to his patients. He values time, understanding, and a holistic perspective, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and care they deserve.

Family: Stephen is married to Dr. Karen Saylor, and they have two children, one a senior and the other in college.

Athletic Background

As a lifelong athlete, Stephen's passion for fitness and wellness has driven him to excel in multiple disciplines. A collegiate track and field athlete specializing in pole vaulting and sprinting, he later transitioned to competitive bodybuilding, competing at the national level from 1991 to

1999, including the prestigious 1999 NPC Nationals. As a respected leader in the bodybuilding community, Stephen also served as a National Physique Committee head judge and Vice Chair of NPC Northwest. In 2010, he discovered a new passion for ultra-trail running, which has taken him to new heights, including a first-place finish in his age group at the 2022 Bold Coast Ultra in Cutler, Maine. This diverse athletic background has given Stephen a unique perspective on the importance of prevention, treatment, and recovery in sports medicine, allowing him to provide expert care to athletes and individuals seeking to achieve their wellness goals.
